Literature: Pearl, Grade 6, Student Workbook

Integral to the sixth grade text, the Pearl workbook completes the curriculum and offers a writing component unique to this workbook. For most prose selections in the textbook, the workbook has two vocabulary activities. Each prose selection has a graphic organizer and a creative writing prompt. The workbook also offers over fifty original, one-page, prose pieces—called Mini-Originals—with comprehension questions designed to prepare students for standardized writing tests and to provide an opportunity to develop more sophisticated writing skills. The Workbook Answer Guide is included in the Teacher’s Edition.
